DESCRIPTION:Please note that this event will possibly be postponed or cance
 lled due to the current COVID-19 situation.\nThe International Lighthouse 
 Lightship Weekend\, ILLW\, is a popular worldwide field-day event for amat
 eur radio operators.\nCHADARC regularly sets up at the Smoky Cape Lighthou
 se at Southwest Rocks for the duration of the the full weekend of 48 hours
  (as measured for the two full days in UTC).\nThe ILLW usually takes place
  on the 3rd full weekend in August each year and attracts over 500 lightho
 use entries located in over 40 countries. It is one of the most popular in
 ternational amateur radio events in existence probably because there are v
 ery few rules and it is not the usual contest type event. It is also free 
 and there are no prizes for contacting large numbers of other stations.\nT
 his year (2020) the ILLW event takes place from 10:01am Saturday August 22
  till 10am on Monday August 24 (local time - 48 hours).\nThe ILLW came int
 o being in 1998 as the Scottish Northern Lights Award run by the Ayr Amate
 ur Radio Group.
